Universe Guide

An advanced interstellar starship’s command console stretches across the foreground in photographic realism, its surface a dark, brushed metal embedded with crisp holographic displays, navigation grids, and glowing alien star maps. At the center sits a slim, open digital manuscript device labeled “Benny’s Adventures,” its text faintly legible. Through the panoramic forward viewport, multiple galaxies swirl in distant, overlapping layers, suggesting a vast narrative scope. Cool, ambient cockpit lighting combines with the cold starlight outside, casting intricate reflections across the controls. Shot from a slightly elevated angle focused on the console, with the galaxies artfully blurred, the composition feels analytical yet dramatic, conveying the intellectual depth and thrilling scale of the book series.

Unpack the politics, planets, and powers that shape Benny’s dangerous, ever-evolving universe. Here is the cast of Characters, Organizations, and Planets from Humanity’s Dream – Book III:

Benny – A male humanoid android designed in collaboration with numerous corporations. B.E.N.N.Y. is the name given as an acronym. Biomechanically Engineered Neural Network, adding the solution value of the letter “Y” as an unknown variable. Benny’s creators believe his capabilities and potential are unknown, thus assigning the variable “Y” to complete the acronym.

Billy – William “Billy” Bennet is the FBI Agent In Charge with a team of agents monitoring Benny and ensuring it stays within the agreed operational guidelines defined by the twelve-member governing committee. Billy becomes the first human to travel at light-speed through a wormhole and visit an alien world with intelligent life. Vincent Sagan – Governing committee chairperson who is also an Astrophysicist and is a great-grandson of a renowned Astronomer. Vincent is related to Molly Sagan and assigned to the Nuit Crew.

Molly Sagan – She is the press and communications advisor to the President of the United States, Vincent Sagan’s cousin, and is related to the same renowned astronomer.

Anialisia – A habitable planet with intelligent life located in the Andromeda galaxy. Humans refer to the planet as Andromedae d. The wormhole leading from Earth’s solar system is now referred to as the Anialisian wormhole.

Hafidha – Anialisian Lead Delegate of the Delegate Council.

Aaliyah – Lead Anialisian Scientist.

Inari – A planet known to humans named Triangulum galaxy with a highly advanced and intelligent civilization. The wormhole leading from Anialisia to Inari is now referred to as the Inari wormhole, which has three branches leading to three different galaxies. Each wormhole branch is aligned with nanobots assisting wall stretching, allowing more enormous spaceships to travel through.

Bastet – From Inari, also referred to as Bas, is the Commander of the Starship Nebule, who later becomes Ambassador Bastet. She becomes the first Inarian from her generation to visit Earth.

Fukayna – Is the elder and brilliant Scientist of Inari and the creator of the nanobots.

Abasi – Inari military starship commander who is also Bastet’s Mate and father of the yet-to-be-born baby Bastet and Abasi will name Benny.

High Priestess Aya – Is the leader of the High Council, which is comprised of Inari’s leaders globally. She is empowered to make logical choices and confides in Fukayna and the high council on various scientific issues.

Valentina Kikina – She is a 3rd-generation cosmonaut from Russia and a Geologist assigned to the Starship Nuit crew.

Rosemary Coogan – She is a 2nd-generation astronaut from Great Britain and a Botanist assigned to the Starship Nuit crew.

Liu Yang – She is from China and is a renowned Taikonaut and Astrophysicist assigned to the Starship Nuit crew.

Cai Dong – He is from China and is a renowned Taikonaut and Bacteriologist assigned to the Starship Nuit crew.

Ali Akbar Adeli – He is from Iran and is a Physical Chemist assigned to the Starship Nuit crew.

Global Federation – An Organization created by leaders from many nations to share all technology and globally contribute to world peace in the pursuit of intergalactic travel. President Mills from the US is the chairperson.

Starship Nuit – Designed by Benny and constructed per his detailed instructions by various corporations and governments, and managed through the Global Federation.

Starship Kennedy – Molly named based on her admiration of a historic presidential speech in 1961 by John F. Kennedy, developing a strong space program to travel to the moon and beyond. Benny designs the starship to carry up to fifty scientists from numerous fields of study and trained support technicians to become a long-term colony on Gliese.

Starship Sagan – Molly named the starship after her and Cousin Vincent Sagan in honor of their famous astronomer great-grandfather’s contribution to science education. Benny designs the starship to carry up to fifty scientists from numerous fields of study and trained support technicians to become a long-term colony on Taloo.

Gliese 677 Cc – Similar to Earth in mass and temperature, with the potential for an Earth-like atmosphere, located in the Milky Way galaxy. The Gliese moon was named Carl by the Nuit crew

Gliese Moon – The Nuit crew named “Carl” out of respect for Molly and Vincent’s great-grandfather. The moon is expected to have rich gems and rare metals, eventually requiring samples to be extracted.

Kato Ingram – Cybernetics Corp programmed Benny’s emotion subroutines. Kato now works with Benny on various programming projects.

Anton Andree – He is a renowned Russian Astrophysicist and cosmonaut assigned to the International Space Station who is storing and testing the extracted wormhole exotic matter in the station’s cold atom lab.

Taloo – Habitable planet, the third branch of the Inari wormhole leads. Taloo is near a dwarf star with its amphibious species, both water and air-breathing, with most of its population living in colonies in the oceans.

Deloo – He is the Commander of the Cavee, capable of air-breathing, and became Taloo’s military protector of their home world.

Kiloo – She is the Taloo Queen with human-like anatomy and features. She is amphibious but can also breathe air above ground.

Vinoo – Lead scientist of Taloo.

Necho – Inari Commander of the spaceship Cavee, was the first deep space astronaut traversing the Inari wormhole, landing on Taloo six thousand years prior.

Supply Starship Buzz – Piloted by two military astronauts with their first travel assignment to Gliese, accompanied by Benny in BB1, Liu, and Ali in the colony starship Kennedy.

Supply Starship Lightyear – Piloted by two military astronauts with their first travel assignment to Taloo, accompanied by Billy and Victor in the Nuit, Valentina, and Rosemary in the colony starship Sagan.
